        Prof. Maria-Regina 
        Sedlhofer was born in Sao Paulo, where she began her piano studies with 
        Dinora de Carvalho. She started performing as a child, giving many solo 
        recitals and playing as soloist with orchertras. 
        She studied six years with 
        Prof. Bruno Seidlhofer at the University of Music and Fine Arts in 
        Vienna, she passed the final exam with the highest honor and received a 
        special Prize from the Austrian Ministry of Education and Arts. 
        She was married to Prof. 
        Bruno Seidlhofer and during this period she acted as assistant in many 
        of his master classes. 
        Selected through 
        international competition, she took over a piano class at the University 
        of Music in Vienna. 
        Maria-Regina Seidlhofer 
        was awarded the Cross of Honour for Science and Art from the Federal 
        President of the Republic of Austria. She also received the Rio Branco Order - Commander - for outstanding 
        achievements in the field of international cultural relations from the 
        Brazilian Government. She has given concerts in France, Germany, Holland, 
        Finland, United States, Brazil as a number of master classes, concerts 
        and lectures abroad:  |
